According to French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukraine's allies want the UAF counteroffensive to be as strong as possible more successful. Macron made this statement on June 12 at a press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish President Andrzej Duda. The French leader was quoted by the French TV channel BFMTV.
According to Macron's statement, after a successful counter-offensive of Ukraine, it will be possible to proceed to negotiations on «good terms».
He also noted that Moscow's «aggressive policy» , is already «a strategic and geopolitical failure, since it is already clear to everyone that Ukraine will not be conquered.» The French President clarified that the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could last «weeks, or even months.»
«The conflict in Ukraine calls for us to continue close cooperation. We will make sure that Russia does not come out victorious and could not repeat this war,» Macron stressed.
