The Hague, Jun 15 , linked to Russia, are threatening to carry out a cyberattack on European banks, according to the Dutch news service RTL Niews.
It is noted that we are talking about hackers from Anonymous Sudana, REvil and Killnet groups. The message posted by the hackers says that the cyber attack they intend to carry out on European banks is a response to the supply of weapons by the West to Ukraine.
Netherlands cybersecurity company Computest believes the warning is real, but doesn't know if the hackers will be able to carry out their threat. Another cybersecurity company, FalconFeeds, does not exclude that the SWIFT system could be the target of hackers.
Media reported earlier that several ports in the Netherlands were attacked last week by supposedly pro-Russian hackers. This resulted in the failure of the websites of the ports of Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Groningen.
