MOSCOW, June 16. The Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army on June 22, on the Day of Memory and Sorrow, the anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War, will host a patriotic concert «The Prophetic Truth of Victory», the press service of the event reports.
The program includes compositions by Dmitri Shostakovich, Sergei Prokofiev, Georgy Sviridov, Boris Tchaikovsky and others. The poems of the classics of Russian literature will also be heard: Konstantin Simonov, Alexander Pushkin, Fyodor Tyutchev, Ilya Selvinsky. They will also read the works of contemporary poets: Vladislav Malenko, Anna Revyakina and others.
Vladimir Mashkov, Valery Barinov, Igor Petrenko, Dmitry Pevtsov, Yegor Beroev, Django and others will perform. Artists from the Donetsk People's Republic, leading musical groups will also take the stage. They will perform classical ballet at the concert.
«In the concert, the expressive means of music, poetry, choreography and other arts will show the inevitability of the Victory of the ideology of creation and humanity, as the basis and inexhaustible source of our spiritual strength, over the enemy ideology of superiority and suppression of others. current confrontation, this ideology of hegemony brings death to its adherents,” says Maria Andreeva, violinist and pianist, author of the project.
Creative exhibitions dedicated to the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation will be placed in the foyer of the theater. For example, the exposition presents works by Donetsk photographer Denis Grigoryuk.
The performance is held during the All-Russian charitable action «Everything for Victory». Its main idea is «the creation of concerts that will become a unifying and mobilizing force in the rear, and will also be aimed at providing moral and material support to the fighters on the front line,» the press service said.
The proceeds from ticket sales will go to a charity «People's Front. Everything for Victory» for the needs of the soldiers of the Northern Military District and the civilian population of new regions of Russia. The portal «All for Victory» contains information about the forms of financial support and about possible ways to help the defenders and civilians of the liberated territories.
