MOSCOW, 15 Jun. The Alexander Pushkin Moscow Drama Theater will go for repairs after the end of the season on June 28 with the play «The Marriage of Figaro», the press service of the institution reported.
The dressing rooms and the foyer of the second floor will be renovated. Experts will carry out the repair and conservation of historical stucco.
“We will also strengthen the foundation of the theater building, restore the main facade from the side of Tverskoy Boulevard,” theater director Vladimir Zhukov clarified. and the Russian Army. Performances are planned in the Republic of Karelia, KhMAO-Yugra, in the Volga region. Negotiations are underway to tour in China. The first premiere of the next season will be in the branch of the institution in Sytinsky lane.
“The Pushkin Theater plans to return back to Tverskoy Boulevard in November this year,” the press service noted.
Earlier it was reported that in June six foreign theaters would come on tour to Russia.
