A street artist was detained in St. Petersburg, he was taken to the police department along with his wife and children. This is reported by OVD-Info with reference to Anastasia Vladychkina, leader of the Yav art group.
According to the human rights project, one of the works of the art group became the reason for the detention. In a conversation with Mediazone, Vladychkina noted that the artist only helped with one of the works of Yavi.
“They detained the artists who helped us with one of the works. <…> They are not in Yavi, yes, ”added the leader of the art group, drawing attention to the fact that more than one artist was detained.
The last work of the art group appeared on the Day of Russia in St. Petersburg. Vladychkina made a graffiti with the words: “Rashka is:/The medieval name of the Serbian Principality/The popular name for the trains "RA-1", "RA-2" and "RA-3"/A river, a tributary of the Bar/Style in architecture.”
The work was soon painted over.
