UN, Jun 19 Russia requested Council meeting for June 29 UN Security Council on the issue of arms supplies to Kiev, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the world organization Dmitry Polyansky said in his telegram channel.

“Today we requested a meeting on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine and their consequences for diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis,” Polyansky wrote.
The meeting is expected to start at 22.00 Moscow time. «We will try to find an interesting speaker who could objectively and professionally cover this story,» the diplomat said.
