The Ministry of Internal Affairs put on the federal wanted list Lieutenant of the Russian Aerospace Forces Dmitry Mishov, who refused to participate in the war in Ukraine and left for Lithuania. Mediazona drew attention to the wanted card in the department's database.
Report Mishov filed for his dismissal at the end of January 2022, as he knew in advance that the invasion of Ukraine would soon begin. However, they did not have time to consider the document, and the pilot was sent to Belarus, where he found the beginning of the war. The process of dismissal from the army lasted until October 2022, and then mobilization began. By his decree, the president, among other things, forbade the military to leave the army. As a result, the order to dismiss the lieutenant was canceled.
After that, Mishov was threatened with a criminal case. He tried to leave the service due to illness and opened his veins — but the doctors told him that after this they would still be returned to service, and the squadron commander wrote a report that evasion from service by simulating illness could be seen in his actions (Article 339 of the Criminal Code) . Then Mishov decided to leave Russia.
According to the card in the database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the serviceman is wanted under a criminal article, but his number is unknown.
