Gymnasts Averina spoke about plans after receiving MGIMO diplomas

MOSCOW, June 20 Multiple world champion Dina Averina said, that after receiving a diploma from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia (MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation), she and her sister Arina will strive to understand all the nuances of the sports industry.
On Tuesday, Dina and Arina Averina received MGIMO diplomas from Stanislav Pozdnyakov, President of the Russian Olympic Committee.
“We received a diploma for professional activities in the field of management. That is, we plan to deal with organizational, administrative, economic and financial issues, understand all the nuances of the sports industry,” said Dina Averina.
The Averin sisters are 24 years old. Dina Averina is the silver medalist of the Tokyo Olympics in the individual all-around, 18-time world champion and 10-time European champion. Arina won the World Championships five times and the European Championships nine times.
