Lukashenko promised to dismiss the government if the forecast indicators are not met
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko threatened that in case of non-fulfillment of the forecast indicators for 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Belarus will be dismissed.
Addressing Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, he said: “If you don’t fulfill the indicators that we have reached this year, you are all exactly (the first you and the First Deputy Prime Minister) resign. The words of the Belarusian leader at a meeting with the Council of Ministers of Belarus in the form of a public agreement are cited by the BelTA agency.
«You do it — thanks, orders, awards,» Lukashenka promised. Otherwise, it will be necessary to «act like a man» and «do not be offended.»
The target forecast for the socio-economic development of Belarus should demonstrate GDP growth by 3.8%. And the foreign trade surplus at the end of the year should be at the level of $1.6 billion.
