Turkey's central bank raises key rate for the first time in more than two years

ANKARA, June 22 The Central Bank of Turkey raised its key rate from 8.5 to 15 percent, according to the website of the regulator.
Back to previous once the Central Bank of the Republic raised this figure in March 2021 — from 17 to 19 percent. At the same time, many analysts expected a sharper increase.
