MOSCOW, June 23 With regard to the statement of the director of the Pushkin Museum Elizaveta Likhacheva about Joseph Stalin, a psychological and linguistic examination will be carried out, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a response to Deputy request of the Communist Party, said State Duma deputy Mikhail Matveev (CPRF).
Earlier, Likhacheva expressed the opinion in an RTVI interview that Stalin in Russia is a subject of pop culture, and he can be compared to the Disney character Mickey Mouse. According to her, disputes about Stalin distract the citizens of the Russian Federation from real problems. After that, the State Duma deputies from the Communist Party faction sent a statement to the chairman of the RF IC, Alexander Bastrykin, with a request to open a case against Likhacheva for insulting Stalin.

Stalin, a psychological and linguistic examination will be carried out,» such an answer came from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the deputy, which he posted on his Telegram channel.
Matveev explained that the appeal was not submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, but the answer came from the specified department. “They redirected us. We sent them, they redirected them. We sent them to each other… We didn’t apply to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we applied to the Investigative Committee, they redirected us,” he said.
The State Duma earlier at one of the plenary sessions rejected the protocol order of the State Duma deputies from the Communist Party, which was drawn up after Likhacheva's statement, the purpose of the order was to request from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation the criteria in accordance with which candidates for the position of heads of federal museums are selected.
