MINSK, June 27 President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko admitted that it was painful for him to observe the events that had recently taken place in the south of Russia, because he was worried about the united Fatherland. His words are quoted by the official website of the President of Belarus.
«I will not hide, it was painful to watch the events that took place in the south of Russia. Not only for me. Many of our citizens took them to heart. Because the fatherland is one,» Lukashenka said.
Lukashenko stressed the importance of solidarity and devotion to the Fatherland.
«And our Fatherland from Brest to Vladivostok is land, freedom and our peoples who live here. History remembers: Belarusians know how to defend their land. We have been and will be stronger than any challenges,» said President of Belarus.
