MOSCOW, June 26The Ministry of Culture proposes to confirm the identity of the owners of the Pushkin Card using a QR code, notify users of the postponement or cancellation of events, and also expand the requirements for cultural organizations to participate in the program, the press service of the department reported.
«The process of buying and controlling a ticket will also be improved. For this, it is proposed to use special information services. And to confirm the identity of the owner of the Pushkin card who presented a ticket to enter a cultural event, it is proposed to conduct an experiment on the use of dynamic QR codes,» the message says.
The department added that card users will receive notifications about changes in the time, date and place of the event or about its cancellation, and it is proposed to refund money automatically. In addition, it is planned to introduce a single ticket operator to improve the technological process.
Expanded requirements are proposed to be introduced for the applications of cultural organizations, as well as the criteria for selecting events and institutions themselves — the organization must be registered as a legal entity, and also have the material and technical resources to provide services and open access to information about their activities, the press service noted.
Also, the Ministry of Culture proposed to introduce a new mechanism for providing subsidies from the federal budget for cost recovery. The project provides for the possibility of participation in the program «Pushkin card» of several credit institutions as operators, according to a press release. Previously, the only operator of the program was Post Bank.
