St. Petersburg, June 24. Visitors to the Main Museum Complex of the State Hermitage were evacuated on Saturday due to reports of «mining», the museum's press service reported.
Earlier, the press service reported that for technical reasons, visitors are asked to leave the Main Museum Complex.
«On June 24, the Hermitage received a message that the building had been mined. Visitors were evacuated from the territory of the Main Museum Complex. Museum security officers, together with employees of the National Guard, are checking the exhibition halls and office premises,» the report says.
It is noted that the Hermitage complexes located in the center of St. Petersburg will no longer continue their work on Saturday due to the Scarlet Sails holiday. Visitors with tickets for June 24 to the Main Museum Complex can visit the museum on another day.
