The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow fined the legal entity of the Megafon TV online cinema under the protocol on “LGBT propaganda” among minors (Part 2 of Article 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to the screening of the film “The Barber of England”. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the court.
An administrative case against PJSC Megafon, which owns a film service, went to court on May 25, then Mediazona drew attention to the case file.
The reason for the protocol was the demonstration of the film «The English Barber» with the age limit «16+». It “depicts two heroes of the same sex (female) kissing in a sexual context,” explained the press service of the courts of St. Petersburg, when Tricolor Kino and TV was fined according to a similar protocol.
Earlier today, a court in the capital imposed a fine of 3.7 million rubles on a legal entity because of the showing of the painting Perfect Strangers by Paolo Genovese. One of the heroines of the film comes out in front of her friends. Administrative case related to «incorrect age marking».
