The Krasnokamensk city court of Transbaikalia fined 30 thousand rubles a college student who argued about a war with a teacher in class. This was reported on the website of the court.
A student from the city of Krasnokamensk, which is located near the border with China, said in the classroom: “Russia started the war, attacked Ukraine. Russia is the aggressor, killing innocent people in Ukraine.”
She herself clarified in court that «the teacher provoked her into this conversation,» and her words were «taken out of context.»
Who exactly turned to law enforcement agencies because of the dispute, the court did not specify. The student’s actions were regarded there as “public statements” and a protocol was drawn up against the girl on “discrediting” the actions of the Russian military in Ukraine (Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
