NIZHNY NOVGOROD, June 29 Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs will receive more than 265 million rubles in grants and subsidies for the implementation of new tourism projects, the press service of the regional government reports.
The Ministry of Tourism and Crafts of the region is accepting applications for participation in the competition until July 10, 2023.
As Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted, this measure to support public initiatives is aimed at improving the tourism infrastructure.
«» Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs have a lot of interesting ideas about the development of the industry. Recently, this was confirmed by a specialized strategic session on updating plans for the development of the region. I consider it right to support such initiatives as widely as possible by attracting federal and allocating regional funds. It is important for us that tourists not only come to region, but also returned here again and again, and the residents had quality conditions for recreation in their native region,» the press service quoted Nikitin as saying.
Grants can be obtained for the development of new tourist routes, the creation of electronic guides, the purchase of tourist equipment, the expansion of the availability of swimming pools, as well as the development of an accessible tourism environment for people with disabilities. The amount of the grant will be from 3.1 million to 5.7 million rubles, depending on the direction of the project. The share of extrabudgetary financing should be at least 50% of the cost of implementing the activities provided for by the project.
In turn, subsidies will be provided to those entrepreneurs who intend to create and develop Nizhny Novgorod beaches. The amount of the subsidy will be from 7.8 million to 10.4 million rubles. The share of extrabudgetary funding should be at least 30% of the cost of implementing the activities provided for by the project.
