MOSCOW, June 29 Communication of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the inhabitants of Dagestan was impressive, said the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.
“There was quite an impressive communication with the inhabitants of Dagestan and with those who were in Derbent at that moment,” Peskov told reporters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin paid a working visit to Dagestan on Wednesday, where, in particular, he held a meeting on the development of tourism in the North Caucasus Federal District.
When the head of state came to inspect the fountain opened in the park named after Nizami Ganjavi in Derbent, the residents of the city greeted the president with enthusiastic exclamations and applause. Young people literally surrounded the president, asking questions and filming what was happening on their phones.
