MOSCOW, July 1, Svetlana Bonopartova. Two-time Olympic silver medalist figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva admitted that she would no longer be able to perform a free program.
Medvedeva has not performed since the 2019/2020 season, but takes part in the show.
“Let's be honest, I won't make it to the free program, but I don't pretend to the European and World Championships,” Medvedeva said at a meeting with fans as part of the Moscow Sports Day.
On Saturday, Medvedeva performed a show at a celebration in Luzhniki.
“There was too much rest, and I didn’t calculate it, so I rode today without jumping. My legs forgot what figure skating is. When I was in sports, on you drop out for a week and learn everything all over again. Here I wanted to rely on my acquired professionalism, «said the figure skater.
