MURMANSK, July 3 A court has taken into custody a suspect in the rape of a girl in Arkhangelsk.
«The court decided to take the suspect into custody at the request of the investigation,» said Svetlana Tarnaeva, official representative of the RF Investigative Committee for the Arkhangelsk Region.
The crime was committed on Saturday evening on Moskovsky Prospekt in Arkhangelsk. According to investigators, the suspect attacked the victim, dragged her into the bushes and raped her. People heard the screams and called the police, and also turned to the National Guard passing by. A 39-year-old resident of the regional center was detained. A criminal case has been initiated.
