MOSCOW, July 1 Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova signed a decree appointing Mikhail Kovalchuk, President of the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute, also head of the Polytechnic Museum, according to museum website.
“President of the National Research Center Kurchatov Institute Mikhail Kovalchuk has also been appointed president of the Polytechnic Museum. The order to this effect was signed by the Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova,” the report says.
Kovalchuk noted that the Polytechnic Museum and the National Research Center «Kurchatov Institute» are linked by long-term cooperation. «Together we talk about science, popularize the achievements of our compatriots, support modern scientists and developers.
