DONETSK, July 5 The number of victims of shelling Makiivka by Ukrainian troops increased to 36 people, including two children, the DPR representative office at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) reported.
«36 civilians received injuries of varying severity, including including children: a girl born in 2021 and a boy born in 2016,» the representative office said.
Earlier, Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin said that at least 25 people were injured as a result of the UAF strike on the city. Mayor of Makeevka Vladislav Klyucharov reported that a 62-year-old man was killed as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Makeevka is a satellite city of Donetsk, adjacent to the regional capital from the northeast. The Ukrainian military has been regularly shelling Donetsk and other settlements in Donbass since 2014.
