Local resident: “There has never been such a force of impact”
On the night of July 6, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched a missile attack on Ukrainian military infrastructure in the deep rear. In particular, the targets of the missile strikes were military facilities in Lvov. Local authorities hide the results of the strike, however, as a local resident told MK, there had never been such a force of impact during the entire period of the Russian special military operation.
The high-precision strike, according to him, fell in the very center of the «military triangle», where several military facilities are concentrated at once.
— The Lviv Military Academy named after Sahaidachny is located in this area, — the Lviv resident said. — In this triangle there is a former military-political school, its barracks and dormitories, a school car park with a fuel storage facility. Explosions after a series of rocket attacks turned out to be very powerful. There was no such force of impact during the entire period of the Russian operation.
In addition, according to him, the blow fell on the technopark built on the site of the old plant in 2019. The technopark implemented a number of programs to create weapons, including drones for the Ukrainian army. Now only a skeleton remains of the Technopark building.
If this is so, then the Russian Aerospace Forces delivered a jewelry blow. The deviation from the aiming point is no more than five meters.
“Now in Lviv, traffic is blocked on Stryiska Street from the Monument of Glory, destroyed by Bandera, to Sakharov Street,” the source told MK. — Sakharov Street was blocked up to Knyaginya Olga Street and partially this street itself. Garbage is lying all over Stryiska Street from the corner with Sakharov Street to the Glory Monument.
According to a local resident, the explosions were so strong that the blast wave blew the roof off a nearby apartment building. Moreover, this house is old, built in Poland, that is, before the war. The thickness of the bearing walls is more than one and a half meters.
— Probably, this house suffered due to the fact that it has a semicircular shape, which «caught» the blast wave and thereby intensified the blow, — said the interlocutor of MK. — That is, the shock wave hit the house, which is curved like a sail.
But the epicenter of the explosions was in the technopark.
As they say in one advertising text about the Lviv Innovation Technopark, it differs from Kievskiy by the fact that “a much larger number of experts in the field of technology and innovation work in Lviv. This is about twenty-seven thousand employees working in promising start-ups and companies.
