«Izvestia» showed the interiors of the «house of Yevgeny Prigozhin» during the search
"Izvestia" published photos of an elite mansion, which allegedly belongs to Yevgeny Prigozhin. The publication reports that the pictures were taken during searches at the facilities of the head of the PMC «Wagner» in St. Petersburg after the armed rebellion.
The pictures show a country house — a number of media wrote that the mansion is located in the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg. The frame captured spacious rooms decorated with gilding, wood, marble, carpets, silk curtains and crystal chandeliers. A sauna, a swimming pool, a gym, a bedroom, an office and other rooms are captured, including a medical ward, as well as a wide staircase with wrought iron railings.
A number of photographs captured some of the personal belongings of the owners of the mansion. So, one of the pictures shows a closet with several wigs. On the other, a jacket with numerous medals next to the Wagner flag.
Petersburg edition of Fontanka previously wrote that during the searches on June 24, Prigozhin was seized, among other things, about 10 billion rubles in cash. Later, he confirmed that in the «Gazelle» noticed by the security forces in the St. indeed there were funds associated with his activities. Subsequently, it was alleged that the money was returned to Prigozhin, and the weapons, including the award, were allegedly returned.
