Toyota's all-terrain vehicle will largely repeat the recently introduced related «third» Lexus GX. The presentation of the new LC Prado will be held in the near future.
The American and European offices of Toyota have distributed the first full-fledged teasers of the new SUV. The name of the model has not yet been announced, but it is clear that the next generation Land Cruiser Prado is preparing for the premiere: the profile of the car is almost the same as that of the fresh Lexus GX, which debuted in June (these SUVs were relatives before).

Note that in many «old-world» countries, the current Toyota all-terrain vehicle does not have the Prado prefix, and it will not be in the United States either. It is interesting here that the Prado was not represented in the States: before, the Land Cruiser name was worn by an older SUV, the previous generation of which was sold in the Russian Federation under the index 200, and the current one was sold as the Land Cruiser 300. The LC200 left the American market in 2021, the “three hundredth” did not deliver there. Then information appeared that the Land Cruiser model would return to the United States, and local specialized media at first were waiting for the “three hundred”. But no, Toyota decided otherwise.

Like the Lexus GX, the new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will keep the frame and move to the GA-F platform. Dimensions, obviously, will also be comparable: the length of the “third” GX is 4950 mm, the wheelbase is 2850 mm; the performance of the current Prado is 4840/4857 mm (in the Russian specification) and 2790 mm, respectively.

Judging by the pictures, the new Prado will differ from the premium brother in the design of the front and feed. So, the Toyota model has original bumpers and optics. By the way, some American media believe that the SUV intended for their market will have its own design, not the same as the global version, but the European division of Toyota distributed exactly the same image as the Americans.
In the States, vehicles will most likely migrate from the new Lexus. There, the GX is equipped with a V6 3.5 petrol bi-turbo engine, which produces 354 hp. and 650 Nm and is combined with a ten-speed «automatic». In addition, in the United States, the Lexus GX received a hybrid version, the installation includes a 2.4 petrol turbo four, an electric motor and an eight-speed automatic. Well, in other countries Prados may well leave diesel.

According to unofficial data, the premiere of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado of the new generation will be held this summer. In Russia, such an SUV, apparently, is waiting only for a «parallel» future.
