Now only the restyled Tiggo 4 Pro is available to customers (from the family), sales of which in Russia started last fall. The recommended retail price of such a crossover starts at 2,099,900 rubles.
In China, the Chery crossover, known in Russia as the Tiggo 4, is sold under the name Tiggo 5x. In the home market, the model has already experienced restyling twice. In Russia, until recently, the original SUV was sold, as well as its updated version for the first time — called Tiggo 4 Pro. The most up-to-date version has not yet reached the local market. Now it has become known that the pre-reform version of the Russian Federation is also leaving.

Previously, both versions — Tiggo 4 and Tiggo 4 Pro — were sold in Russia in parallel. Now local dealers no longer have Chery Tiggo 4, and, as they said in the Russian office of the brand, new arrivals of such a crossover should not be expected. It was noted here that at present corporate clients and individuals are more interested in the restyled version of the model with the addition of Pro to the name.

At Tiggo 4 Pro, the prefix stands for «progress». Recall that, unlike the “starter” Tiggo 4, the restyled version has a different grille with a pattern in the form of dots in the grid (the design is the same as that of the older relatives Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro). In addition, this version is distinguished by a redesigned front bumper and dual LED running lights strips. The length of both versions is 4138 mm, the distance between the axles is 2610 mm, and the ground clearance is 190 mm. Salon Tiggo 4 Pro received a new front panel, a «floating» touchscreen infotainment system with a diagonal of 10.25 inches (predecessor 9 inches). The crossover also has a different central tunnel with a new gearbox joystick and a touch-sensitive air conditioning control unit.
Chery Tiggo 4 Pro is available to Russians only with a pair of gasoline engines: we are talking about a 113-horsepower aspirated and 147-horsepower turbo engine, the volume of which is 1.5 liters. The base motor is paired with either a five-speed manual or a CVT, while the more powerful version is only available with a continuously variable automatic. This crossover can only have front-wheel drive.

Tiggo 4 Pro is offered to customers in the Russian Federation in six trim levels: Action MT, Action, Family, Travel, Style and Ultimate. The recommended retail price of the basic version (with a manual box) is 2,099,900 rubles, for the least expensive version with a CVT they ask for at least 2,199,900 rubles. Buying a starter version with a turbo engine will cost at least 2,389,900 rubles, and for the top-end configuration you will have to pay at least 2,549,900 rubles (the price does not include current promotions).
