MOSCOW, 5 Jul . In China, reacted to the image of the map of the South China Sea in Greta Gerwig's film «Barbie» with Margot Robbie, writes Fox News. In the picture, the disputed part of the water area was shown to belong to China, so the film was not released in Vietnam.

«China's position on the South China Sea issue is clear and consistent,» said Mao Ning, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman.
She also added that Vietnam should not be confused the South China Sea issue with the usual cultural exchange.
Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei also claim the disputed territory.
A court in The Hague called China's claims illegal. But China did not recognize this decision.
The premiere of «Barbie» is scheduled for July 21. In the film, the famous doll gets into the real world. Ken also learns about people's lives with her. The image of beloved Barbie in the film was embodied by Ryan Gosling.
