The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Khakassia reported on the initiation of a criminal case against a resident of Abakan, who promised to help with the return of mobilized people for money. This was reported on the website of the regional department of the department.
The man is accused of fraud (parts 3 and 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code), the court sent him to a pre-trial detention center. According to investigators, a previously convicted Abakan resident posted on the Internet an announcement about the provision of legal assistance to return the mobilized home.
At least two women responded to the ad — both tried to return their husbands. One of them paid the person involved in the case 300 thousand rubles, the second — about a million rubles. According to a press release from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, each time the man invented new reasons for receiving money and promised the victims that he would “guaranteedly solve the issue”, as he “has positive experience in such cases.”
According to the department, at the moment, the Investigative Committee is also investigating the case on 14 episodes of fraud against the detainee. In particular, he is suspected of fraud in the provision of legal services, filing bankruptcy, purchasing and supplying cars.
