MOSCOW, July 7 Moscow's Lefortovo Court has extended the arrest of Ukrainian military intelligence pilots who planned acts of sabotage in Russia, the court said.
The video with two pilots Alexander Morozov and Dmitry Shimansky was published by the FSB in early June. In the video, they say that they flew to Russia to organize sabotage and damage fuel and energy facilities. One of them says that the leadership of Ukrainian intelligence discussed the possibility of creating and transferring a «dirty» nuclear bomb for radioactive contamination.
«The court granted the petition of the investigator to extend the term of detention for A.G. Morozov and D.L. Shimansky,» the court reported.
According to the court, they are charged with three articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — illegal movement of weapons and ammunition, sabotage and illegal border crossing. The accused were transferred to Moscow to the Lefortovo pre-trial detention center for investigative actions.
