MOSCOW, 8 Jul. The American entrepreneur and owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, accused Meta* CEO Mark Zuckerberg of plagiarism on his social network page and said that the conflict had become personal.
Semafor previously published a letter from Musk's lawyer Alex Spiro, in which he expressed concern about the need to sue the company Meta* due to suspicions of using trade secrets of Twitter in the work of the new social network Threads.
«I spent $44 billion on this app (Twitter. — Ed.), and now the 'snake' just decided (it. — Approx. ed.) to copy. Now it's private,» reacted Musk.
The owner of Twitter added that Zuckerberg's challenge to the fight remains in effect.
«See you in the cage,» Musk concluded.
July 6 Meta* launched Threads, a new text messaging service designed to take on Twitter. Mark Zuckerberg reported less than 20 hours after the launch of the social network that the number of registrations in it had reached 30 million.
