MOSCOW, July 7 Presidential Press Secretary Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov refrained from commenting on the possible trips of the head of state Vladimir Putin to the regions during the pre-election period, stressing that the Kremlin never announces them in advance, this is due to security.
«This is never announced in advance. You know what is there its specifics related to security. If such visits take place, we will inform you,» Peskov told reporters, answering a question about whether Putin plans to visit new regions before election day, which will be held on September 10 and whether this will be announced in advance. So far, there are no such trips in the president’s plans, he added.
The single voting day in 2023 in Russia is scheduled for September 10.
