MOSCOW, July 9 South African President Cyril Ramaforsa said on Twitter that the BRICS summit, which will be held in Johannesburg in August, will be face-to-face.
«We will have a face-to-face BRICS summit… It will not be virtual,» the President noted.
Ramaphosa recalled that the BRICS had not held face-to-face summits for almost three years.
BRICS unites Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. A number of other countries intend to join the economic bloc, including Argentina, Iran, and also, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt.
