MOSCOW, July 9 «Coalition» led by the United States in Syria, it violated deconfliction protocols 12 times a day, eight times in an area closed to flights due to exercises by Russia and the SAR, Rear Admiral Oleg Gurinov, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in the Arab Republic (CPVS), said at a briefing.
«During the day, 12 cases of violations by unmanned aerial vehicles of the so-called «international anti-terrorist coalition» were recorded, of which eight were in the area closed to air flights in connection with the conduct of joint Russian-Syrian exercises in northern Syria,» he said. Gurinov at the briefing.
He added that cases of airspace violations continue in other regions of Syria. In addition, in the first half of 2023, 1,602 violations of Syrian airspace by the «coalition» in the Al-Tanf region were recorded. Also, over the past day, four violations of the airspace of the SAR by two pairs of F-16 fighters of the «coalition» were recorded in the At-Tanf area.
