Moscow, 9 Jul. A delegation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation headed by Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko will pay a visit to China, the press service of the Federation Council reported.
The visit will take place at the invitation of Zhao Leji, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China.
Parliamentarians, including Matviyenko, will take part in the eighth meeting of the inter-parliamentary commission on cooperation between the Federal Assembly and the National People's Congress of China.
The delegation includes a number of deputy chairmen and heads of committees of both chambers of the Federal Assembly.
