MOSCOW, Jul 13 The international documentary film festival «RT.DOK: Time of Heroes» has opened in Krasnodar. It will show 15 films about the heroes of the NWO, hold round tables and meetings with directors, the RT press service reported.

“Thanks to those who made these films. Thanks to everyone who came to watch. But first of all, a huge bow to those who are there now: who shed blood, endure, wait and fight for us. This festival is about them, about their feat, about every second and minute of this difficult, disturbing, but at the same time cleansing year,” said Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the TV channel, with a welcoming speech.

According to the director of the department information and press of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova, documentary films have become especially relevant today.
“Now making documentary films is especially relevant. Unfortunately, we live in a world of fakes, manipulation and post-truth, which is why documentary filmmakers have not only a great honorable mission, but a huge responsibility. Their calling is not to convey their point of view to the audience, but to objectively present reality,» Zakharova stressed in a video message.
At the opening of the festival, Russian servicemen appeared, whom the hall met with applause. Among them — the head of the Cossack special training center «Kuban» Tsvetkov Ruslan Vladimirovich, holder of three Orders of Courage, known as Kapa, as well as fighters with the call signs Zmey, Batya, Ezh, Odessa, Yug and many others.

The festival hosted a presentation of the arteldoc.tv online documentary cinema, where you can watch films from the RT channel. On the stage of the event, the poet and playwright Maria Vatutina, who read poems in support of military personnel, as well as the SerGa group, performed. Another surprise for the guests was the photo exhibition Donbass-2022, a front-line correspondent for Rossiyskaya Gazeta, Vladimir Anosov.

Viewers will be able to watch all 15 documentaries presented as part of the festival program from 12 to 14 July.
