From July 1 next year, regulated gas prices will increase by 8% in Russia, about as evidenced by the order of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
The order specifies that the next 8% increase will take place on July 1, 2025. In addition, the FAS added that prices will be indexed both for the population and for industry.
In early July, the department announced that the change in wholesale gas prices would be planned, and the funds received were supposed to be directed to social gasification areas and the construction of new pipelines. In addition, the FAS stressed that due to the increase in cost, it will be possible to support the implementation of repair and investment programs.
