MOSCOW, July 23 Explosions rocked Odessa, where an air alert had been declared earlier, according to Ukrainian media.

Earlier, an air raid alert was announced in the Odessa and Nikolaev regions of Ukraine.
The Kiev authorities on the night of July 17 attacked the Crimean bridge with two surface drones. Two people were killed, the automobile part of the bridge was damaged. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article «Terrorist act». President Vladimir Putin promised a response from Russia.
Subsequently, the Russian military launched a series of retaliatory missile strikes on production shops and storage sites for unmanned boats, as well as fuel infrastructure facilities and weapons depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Odessa, Ilyichevsk and Nikolaev.
