TBILISI, Jul 26 Large Georgian NGO Transparency International — Georgia» reported that since March 2022, more than 21.3 thousand companies have been registered in Georgia by Russian citizens, which is three times more than over the past 27 years.
«Since the start (of the conflict) in Ukraine, Russian citizens have founded 21,326 companies in Georgia, which is three times more than in the last 27 years,» the organization's press service said in a statement.
The organization notes that for comparison, from January 1995 to February 2022, a total of 7,788 companies were founded by Russians in Georgia.
The organization does not specify whether Russians who have started business activities in Georgia have dual citizenship.
