DONETSK, July 26 Ukrainian troops fired 40 NATO-caliber 155-millimeter shells in Donetsk and Makeevka in 40 minutes, according to the DPR office at the Joint Center for Control and coordination of issues related to war crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) in the Telegram channel.
According to the data published in the Telegram channel of the representative office, from 14.55 to 15.35, Petrovsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk and Chervonogvardeysky district of Makeevka were subjected to shelling by Ukrainian troops . During this time, Ukrainian troops fired a total of 40 shells of «NATO» caliber of 155 millimeters at targeted points.
In addition, at 15.20 and at 15.30 Ukrainian troops opened fire on Horlivka, firing six shells of 152 mm caliber.
Artillery of 155 mm caliber is used by NATO countries. The United States supplied Kyiv with long-range M777 howitzers of 155 mm caliber, Ukrainian troops are actively using them to shell the cities of the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics.
