The Cheryomushkinsky District Court registered the materials of the administrative case against the founder of the project Conflict Intelligence Team by Ruslan Leviev (Karpuk). Mediazona drew attention to this information in the database of courts.
According to the file of the case, the protocol against Leviev was drawn up because of the refusal to put the label “foreign agent” in publications (part 4 of article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). It is still unknown which posts became the reason for the administrative case.
The Ministry of Justice entered the founder of CIT into the register of «foreign agents» in November last year.
Leviev left Russia immediately after the start of the war. In May 2022, he was arrested in absentia under the article on the creation of military «fakes» by a group of persons «with the artificial creation of evidence of the charge» (paragraph «c» of part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). Already in the new year, a second case was brought against him under a similar article.
