«Akela missed»: Podolyaka spoke about Zelensky's last days
«Akela missed» — the failed counter-offensive of the Ukrainian army heralds the last days of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, military expert Yuriy Podolyaka said on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.< /p>
The analyst believes that the West has stopped betting on Zelensky, and currently only one country in reality remains his personal ally and main “senior.”
“The domestic political situation in Ukraine is such that Akela, obviously, has already missed, and the pack needs a new leader. The United States understands this, and as soon as they understand it in the UK, Zelensky’s life will not be worth a penny,” the specialist shared his opinion.
In the current situation, the head of the Ukrainian state needs to go forward from the point of view of survival, Podolyaka explained the tireless attempts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to continue the counterattack on the positions of the RF Armed Forces even at the cost of thousands of Ukrainian lives.
According to him, the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian troops was planned as a quick breakthrough , by mid-summer, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were supposed to reach the Sea of u200bu200bAzov. But this looks almost unrealistic, taking into account the fact that the so-called second wave has been unsuccessfully going on for the fifth day already. Movement on the line of contact during the offensive of Russian troops in the Svatovo region also does not give any advantages to the Ukrainian army. At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in any case, have to regroup and try to do something in the area of Staromayorsky, Rabotino, Pyatikhatki.
When asked whether the United Kingdom is really the only state supporting Zelensky, Podoliaka answered in the affirmative.
“The British supervised him, and it’s easier for them to remove him, writing off the Russians,” the expert summed up.
