«The complex of buildings under the jurisdiction of the Moldovan Embassy in Russia is used in strict accordance with international legislation regarding the activities of diplomatic missions. Our embassy in the Russian Federation does not carry out economic activities,» Igor, spokesman for the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, told reporters Zakharov.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also reacted to reports that the Moldovan embassy in Russia could be turned into a hotel. They noted that they are talking about possible violations of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations — an international treaty that defines the framework for diplomatic relations between countries.
