YEKATERINBURG, August 4 In August, the Ugra Development Fund's loan portfolio crossed the threshold of two billion rubles, the organization's press service reports.
«The loan portfolio of the Yugra Development Fund at the beginning of August 2023 amounted to more than 2 billion rubles. In total, the Fund issued about 40 loans totaling more than 3.6 billion rubles, of which almost 300 million in 2023,» the report says.
It is specified that the largest borrowers of the Fund are enterprises of timber processing, food industry, metallurgical industry, oilfield services, industrial infrastructure, tourist infrastructure. Thus, among them, the largest investment projects are the production of metal products (Surgut Metallurgical Complex) and the production of export timber processing products (Yugorsk Timber Holding).
«The Fund is always ready for partnership in launching new industries and expanding existing ones. Today, support from the district is important and most profitable for enterprises. The Fund provides soft loans from 5 million rubles at a rate of 3% per annum for up to 10 years for new industrial projects, their modernization and the creation of tourist infrastructure,» the words of the General Director of the Fund, Roman Kolupaev, are quoted in the message.
It is emphasized that new financial products are currently being developed to expand the range of preferential support programs for the region's industry.
Ugra Development Fund is a state regional fund for industrial development. As part of state support programs, the Fund provides preferential loans for the development of industrial and tourist infrastructure in the amount of 5 million rubles at 1-3% per annum for a period of 1 to 10 years, depending on the financing program.
