MOSCOW, August 6 The private railway operator Grand Service Express (GSE) presented the cars of the branded train between Moscow and St. Petersburg and its locomotive in new branded gray-plum shades and livery, the correspondent reports.
The train, which arrived on Sunday at the Leningradsky railway station in Moscow from St. Petersburg, was presented on the Railwayman's Day.
«Grand Express» became the first private luxury passenger train in the modern history of Russia. He set off on July 15, 2005. Almost simultaneously from Moscow to St. Petersburg. The train was conceived and created as a hotel on wheels. The company has officially registered the corresponding trademark.

In the Soviet Union, it was a tradition to paint locomotives in the style of branded train cars. «But for several decades, nothing like this has happened. Thanks to the Grand Express train, the tradition has been revived, and our hotel on wheels has become the first in modern Russia, which is completely dressed in the same style,» the company noted.
Grand Service Express is a Russian private railway carrier. Its trains run between Crimea and the cities of mainland Russia, as well as between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
