KRASNOYARSK, 7 AugState Duma deputy, candidate for the post of head of Khakassia Sergey Sokol presented the plan for the social and economic development of the republic until 2035 to the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov and asked the minister for support with its implementation. «My team and I have started developing a program for the development of the republic up to 35 years. Our proposal: it is necessary to develop a comprehensive plan for the development of the region and attract federal funding for its implementation for a period of three to five years. We have packaged all the projects developed by our team into a single document, which takes into account the individual characteristics of the republic,» Sokol said.
According to him, the main objectives of the proposed plan are the growth of off-budget investments, new jobs and growth in incomes of the population.
“The key directions of the plan are the development of the agro-industrial sector, the metallurgical cluster, tourism and support for small and medium-sized businesses. This is basic. I would like the opportunity to consider and support our proposal,” the State Duma deputy said.
For his part, Reshetnikov said that he had familiarized himself with the presented program and «really the program answers strategic questions.»
«As a whole, as a ministry, we support your proposals on special development measures… The basic backbone is very solid… We are ready to support and apply to the government of the Russian Federation with some coordinated and generalized proposals. Let's work together,» — the minister said.
He noted the favorable geographical location of Khakassia in modern realities, its good tourism and agro-industrial potential.
