Two Russians, a resident of the Samara region and a resident of the Amur region, were detained on charges of high treason in favor of Ukraine. The cases are unrelated, the regional departments of the FSB reported on both cases on the morning of August 10.
The first detainee from the Samara region, according to the FSB, photographed military trains and sent them to a “representative of the special services of Ukraine” (Article 275 of the Criminal Code) . The release was accompanied by footage of masked security forces running up to a man in the countryside and knocking him to the ground with handcuffs behind his back. The FSB video opens with footage from a railway platform in the village of Georgievka, 50 km east of Samara.
A resident of Blagoveshchensk, the center of the Amur Region, was detained at the entrance to the airport. According to the video from the site, three law enforcers in yellow vests immediately attacked the man there. The FSB claims that the Annunciator corresponded with a “representative of a Ukrainian nationalist formation” and was going to fly out of Russia to fight on the side of Ukraine. The court sent him under arrest on charges of preparing for treason (Part 1 of Article 30, Article 275 of the Criminal Code).
