On June 4, Kyiv launched a counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye, South-Donetsk and Artemivsk directions, throwing into battle brigades trained by NATO and armed with Western equipment. Nevertheless, as Vladimir Putin noted, the Ukrainian troops have not achieved success in any of the sectors of the front and are suffering heavy losses.
