
MOSCOW, August 11 The dollar and euro exchange rates on the Moscow Exchange rose above 99 and 109 rubles, respectively, for the first time from March 2022, follows from the trading data.
According to the situation at 16:34 Moscow time, the US currency is growing by 1.69 rubles, to 99.15 rubles.
The euro rises in price by 1.35 rubles, to 108 .9 rubles. Minutes earlier, the exchange rate of the European currency rose to the maximum to 109.11 rubles.
The yuan grows by 19 kopecks, to 13.65 rubles. to regular lows since March of last year.
As Dmitry Babin from BCS Mir Investments noted, the ruble continues to be pressured by an imbalance between the demand for foreign currency and its supply.
The cost of Brent oil by 16:07 Moscow time is growing by 0.4%, to 86.8 dollars per barrel.
