MOSCOW, Aug 12 Ukraine's stubborn demand for surrender Russia — confirmation of Kiev's unpreparedness for peace talks, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council Konstantin Kosachev said in his telegram channel.

Quite the contrary: persistence in demanding the complete surrender of Russia under the guise of a “peace plan” in the eyes of any realistic politician confirms Kiev’s complete unpreparedness for negotiations. because they may not believe us when we talk about it, but Zelensky's «peace formula» is one hundred percent confirmation that negotiations are still impossible, and not at all because of Moscow,» the senator wrote.
He noted that Kiev itself does not believe that an ultimatum on surrender can become the basis for negotiations, but “they are simply pleased that people come and listen to their excited stories about how they will soon return the self-determined territories, receive innumerable reparations, Russian leaders will be judged.»
“Much more amusing in the undertaking with the“ peace formula ”is something else: Zelensky quite seriously stated that it can become a universal basis for ending other military conflicts on the planet. The prospects in this regard are breathtaking. Israeli conflict, or, say, Armenia and Azerbaijan in relation to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, use this «universal» formula from Kiev's «peacekeeping geniuses»: one of the parties completely abandons its position, pays huge reparations and puts its leadership on trial», Kosachev continued.
The parliamentarian added that it would be possible to suggest testing this formula on «a well-known conflict situation that cannot yet be considered completed — it's about Kosovo and NATO's aggression against Yugoslavia.»
“Literally following the “peace formula” from Zelensky, the borders of Yugoslavia, including Kosovo and Metohija, should be restored. NATO countries should pay multibillion-dollar reparations to Belgrade for damage to people, infrastructure, economy, and the environment,” he explained.
For this, according to the senator, «the decision of the Belgrade District Court adopted in September 2000 against William Clinton, Madeleine Albright, Anthony Blair, Robin Cook, George Robertson, Jacques Chirac, Hubert Vedrine, Alain Richard, Gerhard Schroeder, Josef Fischer, Rudolf Scharping, Javier Solana and Wesley Clark.» The court found them guilty of crimes against Yugoslavia and sentenced them to 20 years in prison, he added.
