WASHINGTON, Aug 11 The United States has expanded its sanctions list for Russia to include four individuals and one legal entity, the U.S. Treasury Department said in a document released Friday.
According to the published list, the new restrictions affected entrepreneurs Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, German Khan and Alexei Kuzmichev. In addition, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) was also subject to US sanctions.
Sanctions by the US Treasury involve blocking the assets of individuals and legal entities included in the lists, as well as a ban on their transactions with residents.
